Arrival on Milos - 2/19/00
INTRODUCTION
Smuggler's Haven in the Mercurial System was an eventful stop for the party. You met many
strange and interesting smugglers, and experienced alien races you had not encountered in the past. Tibbo Sure...smart-assed
free-lance Cordawan, quick-tempered Timothy, with some minor Force powers, tall muscle-bound one-eyed Yog, and
the now-dead Finder Bosch. At the end you witnessed Black Mary...escapee from Fendora-Bengala custody, and her
skull-painted companion. There were the drunk brothers...Demitri and Fumas, who mistook Kanai as a past enemy.
And then Jocko Mar, Milos-escapee, and his faithful first in command Dena...tall thin wookie-bow-caster carrying
tough-bitch.
With the Help of Mad Remy...the Administrator, Jocko Mar was convinced to smuggle you and your guns onto the surface
of Milos. You accompanied him aboard the Chromium Hawk, and travelled to the industrialized slave planet. You were
given a homing device that would guide you to the rebels you intended to contact. The homing device has a one-time-only
(for security purposes) built in RECALL signal. One push of the button, and at a predetermined location on the
space docks...you will be picked up by a ship belonging to Jocko-Mar.
You had covered your departure by creating a story that you were going to investigate communications from the surface
of Mercury...in the Rattini's ship. Mad Remy had agreed to allow the protective fields to fail around that ship...causing
it to be destroyed by the heat and radiation from the red giant, Primal Fire. In the meanwhile...you had already
left and were headed to Milos!
Your guns would be shipped to a junk dealer named Minkeewa, labelled and disquised as "parts." You got
in the kegs that had once held Wookie Ale..."Reggen"...as the Chromium Hawk approached Milos. The kegs
were sealed...and you expected to be transported to a Tavern that was sympathetic to the Rebel efforts on Milos.
There the kegs would be opened, and with the sympathizers' help and the use of your homing device, you would find
the Rebels...but not everything goes according to plan....
You were patient as the kegs were bumped around during transports...and finally they were left in a stationary
position. You peaked out of your kegs...and a frightful sight met your gaze. Fully power-armored combat troops
sitting at a table...drinking a bit and gambling. Your friend Kenai, he is standing upright in his open keg...behind
a bar...with two of the combat troopers on either side of him. You are fairly sure...based on descriptions that
you have heard, that these are the highly-feared Twilight Guard...the vengeful tool of the Hindar Clan of Milos.
Has the party been betrayed by Jocko Mar....or has some horrible mistake been made!?! Or are these armored soldiers
the sympathizers? Only tonights game will tell! ...Mark Stinson
